Honestly speaking, I've never stayed in Tagaytay Hotels so it's a tough question for me. What I did was I did my research through the internet and these are the things that I discovered that sets ONE TAGAYTAY apart from other Tagaytay hotels:
One, what sets ONE TAGAYTAY apart from the rest of the hotels in Tagaytay in terms of bonding together with family is that they have a flat-screen LCD TV in their rooms! Every family, at least the ones that I know of, loves watching movies/DVDs together at the comfort of their own bedroom or living room and there's nothing more enjoyable than watching them on a flat-screen LCD TV together with room service and a cozy hotel room. It's a great way to bond with family or friends.
In addition to that, I also noticed in ONE TAGAYTAY's website that they have spacious living rooms with a great living room set. If my family were there, we would hang out in the living room, talk about anything under the sun- horror stories, jokes, etc., and simply just enjoy the beauty and the coziness of the room itself while drinking coffee or hot chocolate.
Another difference is that according to one of the hotel's customers who posted a review about this hotel on the internet, "...it's near everywhere you want to go in Tagaytay," so that's a huge plus for people who would want to go outdoors and explore the local scenery. And, speaking of the local scenery, the hotel is situated near the Taal Volcano, People's Park in the Sky and the Picnic Grove, perfect venues for family bonding!
Well, that's all I've learned so far and hopefully I would learn more by staying there, but only time will tell if it is destined for me and my family. :P
